Safety
is Paramount...
“On our first date, we listed our top three
interests. Flying was at the top of both of our
lists. Seven lucky years later with baby in tow we made good on our
promise. Learning to fly with our family made
safety paramount. The reputation of Cessna, their Cessna
Pilot Centers and the proximity of Horizon Flight Center
facilitated our choice of flight schools. We decided that we would
go on a Discovery Flight together and include our
daughter. We enjoyed ourselves immensely, so we began our journey.
Since we were both obtaining our private pilot's license
we would back seat on each other's flights to increase our learning
time.
The
Cessna Pilot Center kits were really easy to
use, they could be done conveniently at home
and it was fun to study together. The most important part of
our experience was our instructor.

His professionalism and attention to detail completely
alleviated my safety concerns.
I wanted my daughter to experience the flight lessons
so she could become used to flying immediately.
Her demeanor and my
instructor's expertise allowed my daughter to join in all of my
instructional flights. The experience we gained by
learning to fly has not only been beneficial for my
husband and I but also our daughter. She has learned about flying
from the age of three and gained a perspective on discipline. We
have since completed our instrument rating and
began work on our commercial pilot's licenses. The
places we've gone, experiences we’ve had and the knowledge we’ve
gained have changed our lives forever for the better."
