Dear Future Student,I wanted to
take a moment and share some truths in the flight training
industry, and show you how you can finish your complete
training in only 11 weeks and save over $30,000 compared to
other flight schools. Now that I have your attention, Please
let me explain…
Why Does It Take 10—12 Months To
Complete Your Training At Other Schools?
At other schools they have over
250 students, and maybe 15 aircraft, these aircraft are
mostly older (Requiring more maintenance and breakdowns).
Now look at the schools operating hours.
On average this is 8am to 8pm (12
hours), this would equal to 6 flight dispatches per day. If
we have 15 aircraft this would equal 90 flights per day. Now
in any one week you can count on an aircraft being down for
routine maintenance, or breakdown. So lets realistically
drop that 15 aircraft down to 13. So now we have an absolute
maximum of 78 flights per day. In one weeks time this is an
absolute maximum of 546 flights.
This means if there is absolutely
no weather (Which doesn’t happen), you might be able to fly
twice a week at most. This would be 8 flights per month. Now
bring weather into the equation and you can count on an
average of 6 flights per month. The PPL course is 25 flight
lessons. (Because your training is so spread out, it will
more than likely take you one or two more lessons also). But
this will take you 4 months on average just to complete your
PPL. Your instrument rating is the same time. So now you
have been here for 8 months, and are just starting your CPL.
The CPL course is 35 flight lessons. So you can see where I
am going. It is very easy for you to spend a year or longer
completing your CPL training.
How Can Horizon Flight Center
Complete The Same Training In Only 11 Weeks?
Let me share it with you. By
focusing on you the student one-on-one. Once you purchase
your airline ticket and give me your arrival date, I reserve
your own personal instructor and aircraft for you. You will
receive your flight schedule before you even come to the US.
You will fly twice a day. So now the same 25 flight
lessons for your PPL, when you fly twice a day will be
completed in 13 days. But taking weather into account we
call this a 3 week (21 day) course.
Your Instrument training is 25
flight lessons and weather is not a factor because we can go
into the clouds. So this is a two week course. Our
Commercial Single and Multi Engine with Instrument Course is
6 weeks.
So very easily you are completed
with everything in 11 weeks.
We Work For You! We Do Not
Overcrowd The School!
We do this simply, we work for
you. I do not overcrowd the school. I make sure you
can be fit into the schedule before you arrive, or I ask you
to wait a week or two. Those schools with 250 students, have
the students speaking badly about the schools because they
are taking longer than they wish. Well, the Horizon students
are back home over 8 months faster then their friends that
started at the same time. The other schools are
overcrowded because they have international brokers and
admissions reps that are paid commission when you arrive. So
they just want you to enroll and arrive. They do not care
about your completion time. At Horizon Flight Center we
absolutely do not use brokers or commissioned admissions
reps.
Time Is Money! Seniority Is
Everything!
Think of the Thousands of Dollars
you save on Housing, Food, and Transportation during this
time (over $10,000 on average). Aviation is a seniority
business, you want to complete and get your job before the
other guy. Horizon makes that happen. You will graduate
and return home a commercial pilot before your friend that
went to the other school, has even soloed.
Additional Charges The Other
Schools Don’t Tell You About In Advance..
Now I like to share some words
that schools don’t like to tell you in advance. Lets start
with Fuel surcharge, over 80% of the flight schools out
there will show you a price on paper for your ratings, or
aircraft rentals and then when you arrive and fly they will
charge as much as $15 per hour additional to this price and
call it a fuel surcharge. They claim that fuel prices have
gone up. This over the entire course will cost you an
additional $4000. Horizon Flight Center does not and
will not charge this.
Some schools will have a fee at
that end of your training show up, for example in order to
receive all of your documents you must pay a $3000 fee. I
recently had a student call me and talk to me about this.
This fee is a commission paid to a broker that enrolled you.
At Horizon Flight Center you will not find either of these
practices. We do not charge fuel surcharges, and we do not
pay brokers or commission.
What Aircraft You Fly Will Make
A Difference!
Did you know that the Boeing 737
and Airbus aircraft all use glass cockpit technology. If a
school does not have this equipment they are not giving you
a complete training. You are going to apply for a job never
having flown a glass cockpit aircraft. This is dangerous in
this industry when another graduate that has flown the glass
cockpit aircraft is going to start with all of this
experience. Airlines within India have started placing
prerequisites or preferences of glass cockpit training. So
when Horizon Flight Center says we train you on the newest
aircraft for less money, We mean it!
How Horizon Flight Center Will
Save You Over $30,000 Over The Other Schools!
This is simply an effort to
educate you on the industry, and point out why you want to
trust Horizon Flight Center to not only save you money, we
are completely transparent. Our headline really should be
let me show you how I can save you over $30,000 over the
competition
1) $10,000 because I finish you over 8 months faster than
the other schools. (The cost of rent on accommodation, plus
transportation, and food for these 8 months)
2) $4,000 savings because we do
not charge any fuel surcharges.
(250 flight hours, with a $15 per hour fuel surcharge adds
up quick)

complete course is over $14,000 less than the competition
4) $3,000 savings because we do
not use any brokers or pay commissions
